Test Results

Sometimes you may be asked to contact the surgery for the result of an investigation.

Please telephone after midday. 

A member of staff will only be able to give you information after the results have been reviewed and commented on by a Doctor. It may be necessary for a follow-up appointment or telephone call with the GP if the significance of results needs to be discussed.

In order to maintain confidentiality we can only give details to patients themselves, or to the parents of children.

Enquiries about tests ordered by the hospital  should usually be directed to the Consultant’s secretary at the hospital
