Noticeboard

With Dr Kelham retiring, Dr Fawden will now be based mostly in Porlock and take over Dr Kelham’s list.  This means that Dr Fawden will not be available very much in Dunster so we have reallocated his patients to Dr Sherry (who is currently being covered by three doctors part time whilst she looks after her new baby).

It’s a time of tremendous change and we hope you will understand if there are occasional disruptions as we ease into our new patterns now Dr Kelham has retired.

  • Osteopathy is an established, well recognised system of diagnosis and treatment whose main emphasis lies on the structural integrity of the body

  •  It is a safe and natural therapy that focuses on the framework of the body consisting of the bones, ligaments, muscles and connective tissues

  • Osteopaths assess the musculo-skeletal system looking for areas of weakness, imbalance or excessive strain

  • They use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, relieve muscle tension, enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms.  They may also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring
